Z -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT(S) FOR ASBESTOS-ABATEMENT IN WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA & OHIO Sol RFP 415046-95-A-0186. Due 030395. The contracts resulting from this solicitation will provide for asbestos removal at various Postal facilities located in Western Pennsylvania & Ohio. Contractors must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in asbestos removal work and must possess the capabilities of working at least three to four jobs at the same time. Specific workorders will be issued by the contracting officer in accordance with the Technical Specs/Unit Price Schedule. One or more workorders will be issued totalling not less than $10,000.00 nor more than $500,000.00 during the two-year period of the contract. The initial limit of $500,000.00 may be increased by modification as agreed upon by the contractor and the contracting officer up to the maximum of $1,500,000.00. The Postal Service guarantees no specific number of workorders nor a specific amount other than the total of $10,000.00 set out above. The contractor will not be required to perform work under any workorder where the value of work in any one building is less than $500.00. Offerors will be required to submit one (1) ``multiplier'' to be applied to the various unit prices established in the Unit Price Schedule. The multiplier must contain the offeror's overhead, profit bonds, insurance and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items willbe made after contract award. One contract will be awarded for each of the above two areas. Offers are due by 4:00 pm on March 3, 1995. Plans & specifications will be available on or about February 3, 1995 at a cost of $30.00 per set (non-refundable).
