Z -- THE POSTAL SERVICE IS SOLICITING FOR INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT(S) FOR ITS HEADQUARTERS BUILDING IN WASHINGTON, DC AND LEASED SPACE AT L'ENFANT PLAZA Sol 102498-95-A-0051. The U.S. Postal Service is soliciting for Indefinite Quantity Construction contract(s) for its Headquarters Building in Washington, DC, and leased space at L'Enfant Plaza. The contract(s) may last up to two years, and more then one contract may be awarded. The total value of each contract for the two-year period may not exceed $1,000,000. Contractors are requested to submit a multiplier to be used with a Unit Price Schedule to determine the value of each work order. The value of each work order may not be less than $500 and more than $100,000 per work order. The successful contractor(s) are guaranteed a minimum of $10,000 worth of work. The award will be based on the following criteria: a) Offeror must provide evidence of successful completion and experience with repair and alteration projects ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 in the last three years (eight references preferred); or b) The contractor must provide evidence of successful completion and experience with Indefinite Quantity Construction contracts in the last five years (four references preferred). The successful offeror(s) must meet this criteria and submit the lowest multiplier to be used against the Unit Price Schedule.
