Kimberly, (703)704-2193 The US Army CECOM, C4IEW Acquisition Center is seeking sources to provide a Non-Developmental (NDI) Small Projected Line Charge (SAPLIC). The SAPLIC is an explosive mine neutralization device which will provide a self-contained, lightweight, one-shot, single soldier portable capability to produce a rapidly cleared path through surface emplaced anti-personnel mines and tripwires that cross the path. SAPLIC shall be capable of clearing a 0.4 meter wide by 50 meter footpath. SAPLIC shall weigh less than 20 pounds. SAPLIC shall meet the Insensitive Munitions requirements of MIL-STTD-2105B and the Fuze Safety requirements in MIL-STD-1911B and/or MIL-STD-1316C. The following six (6) specific areas of information are required for each NDI SAPLIC candidate: 1.) Company's name, address, technical point of contact and telephone number; 2.) A brief description of the candidate SAPLIC; (3) Brochures and/or photographs of the candidate SAPLIC; (4) Make and model number of the candidate SAPLIC; (5) Availability for quantities of 25-50, 50-100, 100-200, 200-300; (6) The country of origin of system developer, and origin of key end item components. Reponse to this announcement shall be at NO COST to the Government. Only written responses will be accepted.
