49 -- AQUEOUS WASHER SYSTEM SOL DAAA08-95-Q-0065 POC Contact Carol Baumgartner, (309) 782-8635, Contract Specialist The Rock Island Arsenal is seeking possible sources/contractorscapable of providing one aqueous washer system in accordance with Rock Island purchase description (RIPD) 5340-06-94 dated 25 Apr 94. The system shall be A multi-stage/multi-station, aqueous washer system, using A detergent to remove soils, fats, oils and grease. The system shall consist of the following stages/ stations, as A minimum: (1) Wash tank, (2) ultrasonic tank (3) rinse, all with mechnical agitation. (4) Rust preventative tank and (5) heated air flow drying oven. The system shall be equipped with two oil separator units as well as one dionized (DI) waterunit. The system shall be provided with NO less than 14 baskets and 6 basket inserts to hold small quantities of small parts. The systemshall be equipped with an automatic, powered, roller conveyor capable of moving loaded baskets from the entry end, through the system, to the exit end. NOTE: NOSolicitation will be issued at this time. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with NO COST or obligation to be incurred by the Government. The Government will in NO way be obligated to purchase all or any part of the supplies described above. Any of the information stated above concerning the supplies is subject to change.
