A -- A -- ASSESSMENT OF ALTERNATIVES TO ENSURE LAMPS MK III & CEC POC Contact, Ronald G. Ostrom, Phone (703)604-2000 Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order under BOA number N00019-91-G-0051 with Loral Federal Systems (formerly IBM Federal Systems) 1801 State Route 17C, Owego, New York to conduct a Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC)/LAMPS assessment study which will analyze alternatives to ensure LAMPS MK III and CEC system interoperability in the near future. Effort includes assessment of mission effectiveness, definition of functional and interface data requirements, associated engineering support for John Hopkins University/Applied Physics Laboratory, and related documentation. Loral (IBM) is the sole manufacture of the LAMPS MK III and the current Block II Upgrade and has the requisite experience, knowledge, personnel and data base necessary to perform this effort within the time and funding constraints.
