qualifications must submit their SF 254 and SF 255 within 30 days of
this publication to the 182nd Airlift Group, Attn: LTC Michael J Smith,
Illinois Air National Guard, 6706 W Minuteman Avenue, Peoria, Illinois
61607-5023. This acquisition will consist of Type ``A'', ``B'' and
``C'' Architect - Engineering Services for the Illinois Air National
Guard at the Greater Peoria Regional Airport, Peoria, Illinois. Work
consists of studies, design, preparation of contract documents and
construction supervision of Constructing a Fuel Systems Maintenance and
Corrosion Control Hangar of 25,400 SF and related concrete paving to
the aircraft parking apron. The facility provides appropriate space for
performing environmentally safe repair of C-130 aircraft fuel cells and
bladders and for performing corrosion control on C-130 aircraft parts
both on and off the aircraft. Estimated start of design July 1995 and
January 1996 for design completion. The project is an FY 1997
Construction project. Significant evaluation factors in order of
importance: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory
performance of required services. 2) Specialized experience and
technical competence in the type of work required. 3) Capacity to
accomplish the work in the time required. 4) Past performance on
contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of
cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance
schedules. 5) Location in the general geographical area of the project
and knowledge of the locality of the project. 6) The volume of work
previously awarded the firm by the Department of Defense shall also be
considered. The total estimated construction cost is between
$1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This is not a request for proposal.
The Government's obligation for performance of this contract is
contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds. This project
will be open to both large and small business firms but the National
Guard welcomes small disadvantaged business firms, women-owned business
