Henninger, Contracting Officer, (303) 236-5900 x335 The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for the production of Digital Raster Grapic (DRG) image and metadata files. It is anticipated that multiple awards will be made under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. Delivery orders will be placed against the ID/IQ contracts. Work to be completed includes color scanning, data processing, and production and delivery of products. Color scanning shall consist of producing digital raster image files from USGS supplied hardcopy source material using a high resolution color scanner. Required data processing includes color quantization and re-mapping, georeferencing and image transformation, image re-sampling, and file formatting and compression. Delivery of image and metadata files files shall be made on write-once CD-ROM recordables and shall be FOB to Rolla, Missouri. Performance period of 12 months with options for up to an additional 24 months. Interested parties may request a copy of the Request for Proposals (RFP) in writing.
