USDA, Forest Service, Shasta-Trinity National Forest is issuing a negotiated contract to perform multi-task, labor intensive forestry work in Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama and Trinity Counties, California. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, manual site preparation, planting, animal control, manual release, precommercial and biomass tree thinning, fuelbreak improvement and other unforeseen miscellaneous projects that may arise. The contract will provide for a three year renewable option with a guaranteed minimum of $10,000 and a maximum of $500,000 per contractor per bid item. Technical proposals will include (1) organization/management, (2) record of past performance and (3) production capability and capacity. A pre-bid tour may be held to view the project site.
