The intent of this Solicitation is to secure pocket gopher control services for reforestation units on the Barlow, Bear Springs, and Hood River Ranger Districts of the Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon. This work shall be done on approximately 1,267 acres. All units except seed orchards shall include a 100-foot buffer to be treated, using baits or traps as specified. A prework meeting is required. Contractor shall furnish all tools, labor, supplies, materials, equipment, transportation, supervisioin and incidentals necessary to perform the work. A camping permit is required in The Dalles Watershed. Start Work Date is April 4, 1995. Recommended contract time is 110 calendar days for four (4) Items. See Numbered Notes 1&3. (045)
