at (404) 347-3178. Request for proposals for the continued operation of
the Atlanta Job Corps Center located in Atlanta, Georgia will be
available approximately March 2, 1995 for issue in response to written
request. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the
period December 1, 1995 through November 30, 1997, plus 3 governmental
unilateral renewal options of one year. The approximate average
capacity strength is 515 students (325 residential males, 155
non-residential females, 35 non-residential males plus 52 preschool
children as part of the non-residential component). Contractor will
provide direct outreach/screening/placement services for a total of 550
students (of which 110 are male (80 male resident and 30 male
non-resident). An inspection and walk-through of the facility together
with a pre-proposal conferece will be convened at 9:00 am, local time
on March 30, 1995 at Atlanta Job Corps Center. Upon entering the
facility, tour participants must report to Job Corps Center Security.
The contractor shall provide Academic and Vocational Training, operate
a Counseling and Residential Living Program, and operate the following
support services: Health Services, Processing of Student Records,
Discipline System, Clothing Issue, Mail Services and Legal Services.
The contractor will also provide overall Center Management and
Administration as follows: Contract and Personnel Administration, Staff
Training, Financial Management, Procurement and Property Management,
Facility Operations and Maintenance, Security and Safety Services,
Community Relations and Public Information. All questions prior to the
Pre-Proposal Conference should be submitted in writing. Interested
offerors should limit their attendance to no more than three persons.
Requests for his solicitation should include (2) self-addressed mailing
labels. Proposals in response to this RFP will be due no later than
2:00 pm, local time on May 17, 1995 at the address listed above. Fulton
County is not classified as a labor surplus area by the US Department
of Labor. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be
