Q -- NONPERSONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR DENTAL HYGIENIST Sol. 157-0021. Due 040695. POC: Deborah Townson, Contract Specialist, 205/264-1820. Nonpersonal services medical contract for provision of service to the male inmate population of a minimum security federal prison by one (1) dental hygienist for a contract period whih includes a base year not to exceed twelve (12) months with four (4) one-year options for renewal. This contractual position is estimated to be for five eight-hour sessions per week and is not estimated to exceed 250 sessions per twelve-month period. Each contractual position shall not exceed 40 hours per week. Contractor(s) shall be a graduate of an approved dental hygiene program and provide evidence of licensure as a dental hygienist. Contractual duties include the following; however, the list is not all-inclusive and specific attention should be paid to the Statement of Work included within the solicitation package: performance of oral prophylaxis; peformance of root plane and curettage; taking oral radiographs; performance of appropriate sterilization of dental instruments; providing chairside clinical assistance to the Chief Dental Officer; performing clinical operatory set-up and disinfection; and maintaining appointment schedule of patients to be seen in the clinic. Solicitation packages will be availale on or about 03-02-95 with scheduled opening of proposals on 04-06-95.
