The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for Hauling Services. The service to be performed include one (1) tractor/tailor and one (1) driver for the transportation of Government-owned goods from the BEP Warehouse facility in Lorton, VA to the BEP in Washington D.C. Approximately 800 trips per year, portal terminal to portal terminal, will be required, with emergency trips (not to exceed 24 per year) as needed. All potential bidders requiring a copy of IFB No. BEP-95-42(TA) should submit a written request within fifteen (15) days from publication of this announcement. Written requests should include the company's size status, i.e., Large, Small, Minority, or Women-owned. No telephone or telefaxed requests will be honored. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The award shall be for a twelve (12) month base, and four (4) one-year options.
