Item 1a. Cleaning Drainage Structures: clean culvert catch basin,
outlet, drop inlet and ditch line into culvert; Item 1b, Road Opening:
removal (slides, stumps, down trees, rocks from road bed, larger
movable rocks, debris); repair (wash out, rolling dips, berm, ditch
line); installation - assist in gate installation and other work
associated with road maintenance operations. This is an indefinite
quantities contract. The Government shall order a minimum of 700 each
cleaning of drainage structures, and a maximum of 2000 each of drainage
structures; and a minimum of one hour of road opening (back hoe
operation only), and a maximum of 40 hours of road opening (back hoe
operation only) under the contract. Project consists of option year for
both items. Work is to be performed for the Salmon River, Scott River,
and Oak Knoll Ranger Districts, Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou
County, California. Contract time: 75 calendar days. Date for receipt
of bids has not been established, but is estimated to be in early
