Y -- FY95 NAVY FAMILY HOUSING PROJECT, MOANALUA TERRACE HOUSING, PEARL HARBOR, HAWAII SOL N62742-94-R-1327 DUE 051995 POC Contact Point, C. Hagey (808) 474-5510, J. Nishiguchi, Contract Specialist The Department of Navy seeking developers to design and construct 136 family housing units. A total of 122 existing units will be demolished and replaced with 136 new units. The scope includes design, construction and inspection of all structures, utilities, roads, walks, landscaping and all other required improvements, both on and off site. Hazardous material such as asbestos, lead containing paint, and chlordane in soil will be encountered in the removal and disposal work. The contract period of performance is 540 calendar days after date of award. The following evaluation factors will be used in the selection of the firm: (1) Price; (2) Technical; composed of Building Design, Site Design and Engineering, Building Engineering, Material Quality and Maintenance, Proposer's Qualifications and ability to perform, and Subcontracting Program/Plan. Award will be made to the offeror proposing the best value to the Government from a technical and price standpoint. this is a firm-fixed price type contract. The budget ceiling for the contract is $17,500,000. The proposed contract is unrestricted; therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SB and SDB concerns. The Standard Industrial Code is 1522 and the annual size standard is $17.0 million. This is not a public bid opening. The Request for Proposal (RFP) and technical plans and specifications will be available on or about 10 March 1995 and will be provided until supply is exhausted.
