Privott, 804/441-6560 Provide all necessary design, equipment, material, and labor to install a loose laid ballasted single-ply membrane roof over an existing single-ply, membrane roof for the Environmental Research Laboratories' Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory Computer Facility located on the Forrestal Campus of Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey. The work includes the following: move existing ballast to gain access to roof membrane. Remove, and legally dispose of off site, the existing coping blocks, perimeter EPDM flashing and rotten sections of perimeter wood nailer. Provide and install 1/2'' polystyrene insulation over existing membrane. Provide and install wood nailer where removed. Add additional nailer to level of new insulation. Provide and install .060 EPDM single-ply membrane roof. Provide and install protective mat for use with non-warranted ballast. Reinstall existing ballast. Add additional ballast as necessary to meet 10 pounds per square foot requirement. Provide and install new perimeter coping blocks. Follow manufacturer's installation instructions and provide manufacturer's written 20 year warranty for roofing membrane. The Government Estimate for the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance is to start May 1, 1995 and be completed by May 30, 1995. Place of performance is the U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, Forrestal Campus, Route 1, Princeton, New Jersey. Bid, Performance and Payment Bonds are required. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
