The work includes completely reroofing 206 Military Family Housing Buildings by providing all materials, labor, and equipment to remove and replace a shingle roofing system including shingles, felt underlayment, drip edges, deteriorated woodwork, sheet metal flashing, and other related roofing items complete and ready for use. The work shall be accomplished based on the following bid items: a) Base Bid: Includes the replacement of 157 roofs, west of Maple Avenue and repairs to deteriorated wood items as listed on base bid schedule. b) Bid Item No. 1: Includes the replacement of 49 roofs, east of Maple Avenue and repairs to deteriorated wood items as listed on Bid Item No. 1 schedule. Estimated cost is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Estimated duration is contract is 260 days for completion.
