ESSEX Phone: (615) 751-2056 TVA intends to purchase the following goods or services by Competitive Negotiation: TVA is seeking to identify sources experienced in designing, installing, and operating Asychronous Transfer Mode (ATM) Technology for communications network deployment. Sources should have demonstrated expertise in emerging telecommunications technologies and equipment with an emphasis on ATM switch(es) design and installation. Sources may be contacted to design and install ATM switch(es) in support of new and emerging technological applications. Candidates shall be U. S. citizens, be available on a continuous basis (or short notice), and be available to travel. This announcement (IAW FAR 5.200) is for the sole purpose of identifying potential responsible sources for this highly specialized task. A determination of the potential sources' abilities to meet the requirements is at the sole discretion of TVA. TVA reserves the right to make one or more awards at its discretion based upon need. This synopsis does not constitute an offer of contract, although such award may be made at TVA's discretion. Any subsequent contract or transfer of funds will be at the sole discretion of TVA and dependent upon individual respondent's qualifications meeting specific TVA/Counterdrug Technology Assessment Center (CTAC) project requirements as defined. Interested companies must submit their responses within 15 calendar days following the publication of this synopsis. Responses shall not exceed fifteen (15) pages in length for each respondent and shall reflect experience with ATM applications, demonstrated ability to install ATM components effectively, and any appropriate cost information for consideration. Companies who wish to work with TVA's Technology Development Program and Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) in response to this solicitation shall submit their proposals to David E. Essex, ADP Procurement Specialist, no later than fifteen days from the publication date of this synopsis.
