70 -- PURCHASE OF ADP EQUIPMENT POC Contact Virginia Salzman, 703/695-4858, Contracting Officer, Alex Graham The Defense Supply Service-Washington intends to place a delivery order with Calcomp, Inc., Annaheim, California against GSA Schedule contract GS00K94AGS5608 for the following proprietary memory upgrades for Calcomp Colormaster Printers: Eleven (11 ea) Calcomp color printer memory upgrade kit containing 2 16MEG SIMM Strips for 32MEG upgrade (Part Number 18903-0018), and thirty-two (32 ea) Colormaster Plus XF memory upgrade kit containing 32MEG (requirement is for two per printer for 62MEGS) (Part Number 21356-0014. The required items will be delivered to Washington, DC. All analysis and determinations shall be performed in accordance with the guidance of the Federal Information Resources Management Regulation (FIRMR) as shown in Part 201-39.803-3 title ''Procedures'' under Part 201-39.803, ''GSA nonmandatory schedule contracts for FIP resources''. This synopsis should not be considered either an RFQ or an RFP. Firms who can furnish the requirements stated above at prices, terms and conditions more favorable than those of the referenced GSA schedule contract are invited to submit responses. In order to be considered, responses must indicate make, model number, price, and must include catalog and descriptive literature containing sufficient technical information to determine that the items to be offered are in fact the same items stated for this requirement. The Contracting Officer will make an award determination based on information received or issue a solicitation. All responses furnishing the above information will be considered. If either a solicitation is issued, or an award is made, an additional synopsis may not be published. If no affirmative, substantive responses are received within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis, a delivery order with Calcomp, Inc. shall be placed against their GSA Schedule contract.
