U -- CONTINUATION OF AEROSPACE EDUCATION SERVICES PROGRAM POC Barbara Czerw tel: 202/358-0518 The National Aeronautics and SpaceAdministration contemplates extending on a sole source basis, Contract NASW-4516 with Oklahoma State University, for a period of three months, with three one-month options. The contractor will continue performance operating the Aerospace Education Services program, providing a nationwide education program for teachers and students geared at improving and upgrading scientific, mathematical and technical literacy. Contract requirements include (1) authority to grant faculty status and academic teaching credentials to AESP specialists; (2) conduct AESP workshops and provide college credit to AESP workshop participants and (3) conduct educational outreach programs for teachers, students and the general public.
