This facility will handle effluent primarily produced from 5 facilities; B/7401, 7425, 7222, 7327 and planned AMARC corrosion control facility. Treatment facility required to stay within maximum allowed cadmium discharge levels monitored through local government environmental agencies. Large businesses competing for this project must comply with the FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for subcontracting are 60.3% for small business, 9.8% for small disadvantaged business, and 2.9% for small business/woman-owned. A firm that submits a plan with lesser goals must submit written rationale to support goals submitted.
