The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for a Global Positioning System. The system will be used to test receivers under jamming scenarios, test RPV quidance systems incorporating GPS and inertial navigation, and to test and validate receivers. The offeror shall supply an integrated system, that will consist of the simulator and a simulator control unit (SCU) including all necessary software. The system must be capable of the following: a. Generating 5 channels of Link 1 (K1) and Link 2 (L2) GPS signals; b. Generating any of the 32 pseudo-random (PRN) ranging codes available for SPS and PPS; c. Selective Availability; d. controlling SA levels of the simulated transmission from each space vehicle; e. Anti-Spoofing (AS) (i.e., Y-Code capability); f. Must allow for future enhancement by adding up to 5 extra channels within the same basic hardware/software configuration; g. Accepting an external RF signal (jamming signal) and coupling this signal to the simulator's RF output thereby allowing the testing of user equipment under jamming conditions; and h. The simulator control unit shall comprise all computer hardware, software, and cabling required to interface with simulator hardware and to control the simulation scenario.
