314-263-2867. This requirement is for all of the necessary labor,
services, material, test equipment and facilities to develop, design,
test, qualify, and produce the hardware and software changes necessary
to integrate the Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night
Vision Sensor (TADS/PNVS) System into the Ah-64D Longbow Apache Model
Aircraft. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be
considered by the agency. Authority and justification is FAR 6.302-1.
Martin Marietta Technologies Inc (MMTI), Missiles and Electronics, 5600
Sand Lake Road, MP-228, Orlando, Florida 32855 is the proposed
contrator who has the unique skils, data, and equipment, and has been
the sole source designer, developer, manufacturer, and depot level
repair contractor for the TADS/PNVS. Why unique skills, data,
equipment, or processes are necessary for the effort/hardware rather
than the means available to other contractors: As the sole source
manufacturer of the TADS/PNVS, MMTI is the only firm familiar with the
specified requirement to adapt/rework the TADS/PNVS for integration
