Rippe, Sr. Subcontract Administrator, (510) 423-2176, Fax (510) 423-8019 The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) is interested in identifying commercial sources which can provide international communication circuits capable of transmitting standard computer data. In Phase 1, LLNL requires the use of circuits linking the continental U.S. and 2 sites in Russia; 1) a single 64 Kbps full circuit link including foreign local loop and CPE, to Chelyabinsk and 2) a single 64 Kbps full circuit link including foreign loop and CPE, to Arzamas and 3) a single 64 Kbps full circuit link, including domestic local loop from a European hub site to the continental U.S. Phase 2 will establish points of presence at up to 6 additional sites. Data rates shall also consist of single 64 Kbps full circuit links, as provided in Phase 1. Phase 2 sites will be identified at a future time.
