Provde all labor, material, and equipment necessary to overhaul anchor windlass assemblies on the USCGC ESCANABA. All work to be performed at the vessel's homepier at 427 Commercial St., Boston, MA. Period of performance is thirty-five (35) days. Availability is scheduled for 19 June 1995. The solicitation will be issued on or about 6 March 1995. The procurement is set aside for small business participation. All responsible small businesses may submit a bid which shall be considerd by the U.S. Coast Guard. The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
