L -- GROUND STABILIZATION SERVICES Contact, Gail Sudul, Purchasing Agent, 702/295-1393. Reynolds Electrical & Engineering Co., Inc., (REECo), primeManagement and Operations Contractor to the Nevada Operations Office of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) seeks to identify qualified sources for an anticipated requirement for Ground Stabilization Services at the Yucca Mountain Exploratory Studies Facility, Nevada Test Site, Mercury, Nevada. The work will involve ``grouting'' the tunnel alignment in advance of the Tunnel Boring Machine. The tunnel is approximately 25 feet in diameter with approximately 100 feet of ground cover. The contractor must be able to provide evidence of past experience in this type of work which consists of chemical grouting, cement grouting, and compaction grouting. The contractor must be able to interpret and understand geological data and make recommendations on types of grouting and techniques to be used. Please provide with your qualifications package, proposed methods and techniques to be utilized for various situations. Suppliers must possess suitable drilling and grouting equipment; qualified personnel, equipment, and material within 48 hours after being notified.
