Program Office (JTPO) and the MILSATCOM Joint Program Office (MJPO)
announce the MILSATCOM Terminal Technology and Ground Control
Technology Seminar and MILSATCOM Technology Program Review. The purpose
of the seminar is threefold: 1.) To provide a unique opportunity for
the MILSATCOM development community, both Industry and Government, to
discuss advanced concepts and ongoing terminal and ground control
technology development. 2.) To provide a forum for the MJPO to brief
the MILSATCOM Technology Program status and receive Industry comments.
3.) To provide a forum for the Government to obtain terminal and
ground control technology development status from Industry to assist
the MJPO's MILSATCOM Technology Program. The MILSATCOM Technology
Program includes a wide selection of technology projects to meet
current and projected MILSATCOM requirements. Seminar: The seminar will
be held 2 through 4 May 1995 at Ft. Monmouth, NJ, MITRE Center
Auditorium, starting at 8:00 AM. The scope of the seminar encompasses
those technologies which are applicable to the terminal and ground
control segments of future MILSATCOM systems. Presentations and
discussions should address terminal and ground control technologies
(UHF, SHF, and EHF) feasible for implementation in 1996 or later.
(Satellite bus and payload issues have been previously addressed at the
3 and 4 November 1994 Technology Program Review. However, you are
welcome to submit new projects in the bus and payload areas.)
Government presentations will include MILSATCOM requirements, changes
in the threat, and the MILSATCOM Technology Program Status. Industry
participants will present their project(s) with a one page summary,
nonproprietary, in the format required by the Request For Information
