Installation must meet manufacturer's specs. and follow manufacturer's recommended procedures and will provide equipment and personnel with expertise to install VA Supplied Carpet, covebase, and metal strips. Contractor will also be required to remove and install vinyl tile as needed. Contractor must be experienced in removing old carpet from existing asbestos tile and use appropriate procedures to maintain the integrity of the asbestos tile so as to preclude the removal of such tile as a result of carpet removal.
