The U.S. Army Topographic Engineering Center intends to procure 46 copies of the ERDAS Imagine Production software package, to include all of the required software modules, licensing agreements, and maintenance subscription service. The procurement will be structured as a basic year with three option years. This software is required for the Digital Topographic Support System (DTSS)/Quick Response Multicolor Printer (QRMP). The requirement for the purchase of this brand name software is based upon FAR 6.302-1, ``only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.'' The supplies required are specialized software necessary to meet the specific functional requirements of the DTSS/QRMP. The DTSS/QRMP is an automated capability supporting tactical intelligence and related activities. This procurement is limited to authorized distributors of ERDAS products.
