The Library of Congress has a requirement for a study to assist it in determining whether the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped Audio Magazine program should transition from its current flexible disk format to an audio cassette format, and if so, when and how it should do so. The study to be performed shall include an analysis of the feasibility of a transition; the design of the audio cassette magazine system, if one is recommended; and a plan for transitioning to the new program, including projections of cost during transition.
