Due to the proprietary nature of the software, the Information Technology Procurement Division, DITCO, Scott AFB, IL, intends to issue Delivery Order under GSA Contract GS00K95AGS5514 to Computer Associates International Inc., Reston Executive Center Building 3, 12120 Sunset Hills Road, Reston, VA 22090 for the acquisition to upgrade existing maintenance of Computer Associates software products, CA-Top Secret CA-Panvalet, CA- Panvalet ISPF, CA-Interest and CA-1. This requirement will also be to purchase a license and maintenance for additional Computer Associates software products, CA-7 and CA-11. ADP Schedule firms must indicate their interest within 15 days of this advertisement. Non-ADP schedule firms will also be considered but only if responding with clear and convincing documentation that their proposal meets or exceeds the characteristics of the brand name items described at a cost more advantageous than the schedule contract name. Oral communications are not acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice since this synopsis cannot be considered a request for quotation. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published.
