The Officer in Charge requires the Contractor to provide all laboe, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to perform, operate, maintain, repair, and make alterations to HVAC equipment. The work includes the performance of service work; recurring services such as prventive maintenance, and seasonal start-up and shut-down of equipment; periodic operational checks, trouble shooting, repairs, replacement of components, and replacements of entire units. Services shall be provided on the following types of equipment: Air Conditioning equipment and systems, including centrifugal chillers, screw chillers, water cooled direct expansion chillers, air cooled direct expansion chillers, water cooled direct expansion chillers, package units, split systems, self contained untis, pumps snd cooling towers, at various locations in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Portsmouth, Virginia, for the Navy Public Works Center, Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia. Work will be accomplished by an Indefinite Quantity Type contract for a period not to exceed 12 months with four (4) one-year options not-to-exceed sixty (60) months.
