The work consists of furnishing all material, labor and supervision, necessary to perform all work in accordance with the specifications, drawings and other contract documents. The work consists of removal of existing battery operated and hard wired smoke detectors and installation of hard wired smoke detectors to include wiring and appurtenances in Family Housing Quarters, United States Military Academy, West Point NY and Stewart Army Subpost, New Windsor NY. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This is a one year requirement type contract. Quantities are estimated and delivery is on an as and when called for basis, not one lump sum delivery. Solicitation will be issued approximately 9 March 1995 with bid opening approximately 11 April 1995.
