Project QJKL 94-0029, Repair Heating Plant Stacks, Bldg 812 involves the removal and replacement of five existing steel boiler stacks with new stainless steel stacks, replacing the existing flue stack thermometers and wells with new new thermometers with longer stems and deeper wells, revise combustion air ductwork by installing ductwork and an in-line fan combustion air into the heating plant to provide space cooling and to pre-heat the combustion air prior to entering the boiler burners, replace the three (3) existing economizer circulation pumps with three new pumps with mechanical seals equipped with water cooling loop to provide improved lubrication, replace electronic temperature sensor for one boiler flue stack, provide and install two new ceiling fans and replace five induced draft fans in boiler stacks with new ones. The SIC Code is 1711. Magnitude of construction is $100,000 to $250,000. Project construction period is 120 calendar days.
