Open-End Architectural A-E Contract. This is a firm fixed price contract for a period of one year. This project is to include A/E services for final design of an 18 hole golf course and all supporting facilities. The successful firm shall conduct field investigations and prepare final design plans and specifications expanding an existing 20% design concept. Design will include the following: A single facility of approximately 8,200 SF, an exciting 18 hole golf course routing plan taking into account drainage and storm water retention needs, provide HVAC system, fire detection/protection, audio-visual capabilities, storage and other support utilities, and a 4,500 SF cart storage facility capable of housing up to 72 electric carts and design a 4,000 SF maintenance facility. Firms which possess the qualifications to perform the design services specified above are invited to submit a completed SF 254/255, A/E and Related Service Questionnaire. The selection will be conducted with the combined use of SF 254 and SF 255. Interested firms with more than one office should indicate on their SF 255 the staffing composition of the office in which the work will be performed. A/E selection criteria will include (in order of importance): (1) Specialized experiences and knowledge of the firm; (2) Professionl qualifications of staff to be assigned to this project; (3) Professional capacity of the firm to accomplish the work within the required time frame; (4) Cost control effectiveness, show 100% design construction cost estimate and actual final construction cost values of recent projects; (5) Volume of work previously awarded to the firm by DOD, with the object of effecting equitable distribution of contracts among qualified A/E firms; and (6) Past experience of the firm with respect to performance on DOD contracts. Firms which meet the requirement described in this announcement are invited to submit completed Standard Form 254 and 255. Firms responding by close of business on 13 Mar 95 will be considered.
