operation, maintenance and repair for the wastewater collection systems
and pumping stations at the Charleston Naval Shipyard Complex and the
Annex (Radar Site) by means of a combination firm-fixed price and
indefinite quantity contract. The limits of the work are from the edge
of the buildings to the North Charleston Sewer District System. The
contract will be for a base period of one year, 1 April 1995 - 31 March
1996 and contains 4 one-year options with a total contract term not to
exceed 60 months. This is a source selection type contract consists of
submission of technical and price proposals. Site visit is scheduled
for 9 March 1995. The proposed contract is being considered for 100%
set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns and/or SBC.
Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but no later than
15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by
providing to the Contracting Officer listed above evidence of
capability to perform including performance and credit references,
former contracts of similar size and complexity, and a positive
statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically
disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received
from SDB concerns or small business concerns, the solicitation will be
issued unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this
notice are requested from all interested concerns, as well as from SDB
