Krutz, 601/686-5361, Contract Specialist The U.S. Department of
Agriculture, ARS, Mid South Area, Stoneville, Mississippi is in need of
a minimum of four (4) turbine-powered aircraft with hopper capacities
of 500 gallons for application of a virus over 215,000 acres. The
contractor will provide the planes and each must be equipped with
micro- naires, flow meter, and GPS (global positioning system) with
accuracy equal to that of the Del-Norte or Sat-Lock systems. The planes
will fly at 120 - 150 miles per hour during application. Applicators
license and operate under all applicable Federal and State laws. The
Government shall furnish the necessary materials to be sprayed in the
designated test area located in Humphreys County, Mississippi. These
services are required for a seven (7) day period during late April 1995
through early May, 1995. An IFB will be issued on or about March 9,
