SOL N62472-94-B-0808 DUE 032495 POC Contact Point, SHEILA BROWN fax, (610)595-0646, Contracting Officer, GEORGE SHIRLEY, (610)595-0630 The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary for the complete demolition and removal of all existing construction in the area indicated on the drawings, and restoration to a grass area. The demolition shall include: seven two-story buildings, all roadways, sidewalks, curbing, parking lots, and all utilities serving the buildings. Remove foundations to 18 in. below finished grade and break-up basement floor slabs to permit drainage. Remove: electric service including poles and street lights; water and sewer lines back to a main connection; seven underground fuel oil tanks including fuel lines; contaminated soil and certify all locations to be free of oil spills; all materials containing potential health hazards; all debris and rough grade. Certain portions of roadways shall remain and certain utilities shall be modified. Patch all paving disturbed during construction and provide protection for all trees indicated to remain. Perform demolition, removal, and disposal work in complete accordance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Provide: new catch basins, storm piping, chain-link fencing, concrete sidewalks, new granite curbing, and any other incidental related work. The SIC code is 1795 and the Industry Small Business Size standard is $7.0 Million (both are applicable to this contract). Estimated cost range: $1,000,000 to $2,500,000.
