The Rural Electrification Board of the Government of Bangladesh invites sealed bids for the furnishing and delivery of Electric Distribution Line Equipment including a conductor (3 ACSR), transformer, dist. (5&10 KVA), single phase meter, oil centrifusing machine, replacement parts - (voltage regulator, motorola wireless, philip wireless, transformer oil centrifusing machine philip wireless, transformer oil centrifusing machine, power transformer, three phase and single phase OCR, quantum meter, portable standard multi-amp (AVO) corporation, single phase meter) to be used in the construction and operation of a system of 33/11/6.5 kv distribution lines serving rural areas of Bangladesh. The commodities are to be delivered to the port of Chalna, Bangladesh. Sealed bids will be received by the Rural Electrification Board on or before the date specified in the IFB at House No. 832, Road No. 19 (old) Dhanmondi Residential area, Dhaka 1209, Bangladesh. All bids must remain valid for a period of not less than ninety calendar days from the date of opening. Proposals will be opened and read publicly. Any proposal received subsequent to the time specified will not be considered, and will be returned to the bidder unopened. A copy of the IFB, including all of the technical specifications, may be obtained on or after March 9, 1995 upon payment in the form of check or money order in amount of $20.00, non-refundable, payable to NRECA at the above address or from the Directorate of Procurement at the above address upon payment of Taka 2,500 per copy. No documents will be sent by REB to any bidder by courier. One bid package cannot be used for submission of bid proposals by more than one bidder. One bidder may, however, submit any number of bids included in the bid package by purchasing only one copy of the concerned bid package.
