MCBRIDE, Contracting Officer The Air Force Reserve, 908th Avionics Shop, Maxwell Air Force Base has a requirement for an Electronic Circuit Plug Test Set. This is a notice of intent to negotiate a contract for the purchase of one (1) prober and one (1) tracker that automates the process of troubleshooting boards, without requiring maximum set-up time. It shall also have the capability to locate bad components on circuit boards. This agency intends to issue a brand name or equal solicitation for the above items. The Huntron Tracker, Part Number 99-0301, Model 5100DS (AT BUS) AND 1 each Model FB 388 Computer Controlled Robotic Prober Arm, Part Number 99-0320, Model RP388 (AT BUS) have been identified as acceptable products. This test set shall be authorized for use under the Gold Flag/Circuit Card Repair Program. This is a one time buy directed by HQ AFRES in support of the Avionics Gold Disc program. All essential characteristics will be outlined in the solicitation. The SIC Code is 3825 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
