The Department of Energy, Albuquerque Operations Office (DOE-AL) intends to issue a solicitation package for Hewlett-Packard Laser Jet 4M Plus Printers on a Brand Name or Equal basis. This procurement is 100 percent set aside for small business. See Numbered Note 1. It is anticipated that a Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity contract will be issued for a basic year with two one-year options. The minimum and maximum quantities will be identified along with the specification criteria in the solicitation. The solicitation will also request a trade-in/exchange allowance toward the purchase of upgrades/replacements as allowed by 41 CFR 101-46. Delivery destination is the DOE/AL, Kirtland AFB, East, Albuquerque, NM 87116 and is required within 30 days after placement of each delivery orders issued against the master contract. The SIC number is 3577 and the size standard is 1000 employees. This acquisition is being conducted under the regulatory delegation of GSA's exclusive procurement authority for FIP resources.
