A. SCIPIONE, CONTRACT SPECIALIST, FAX (508) 651-5286 The US Army
Soldier Systems Command (PROV), Natick RD&E Center needs 125 medic bags
and vests intended for use by medic corps personnel to carry medical
supplies. The two items shall be made for use together and
independently. The base cloth for the medic vest pockets and shoulder
pads shall be made of nylon duck and the cloth for the front panels
will be a nylon rashel knit cloth. Both materials will be color
compatible with current battledress uniform patterns. The vest will
contain eight adjustable, removable pockets with closures located on
front and sides of vest. The vest will be adjustable (one size fits
all) and designed to be worn over body armor and other individual
equipment. The base cloth for the medic bag shall be nylon duck color
compatible with current battledress uniform pattern. The bag will have
a volume capacity of 950 cubic inches. The government requires
delivery of the first 60 sets within 30 days after award, and the
remaining items within 60 days after award. The proposed contract is
