The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District intends to enter into a sole source, firm fixed price contract with George Patenode of Sun City West, AZ, for daily flow modeling of the Missouri River from Fort Peck Lake, Montana to the mouth of the river near St. Louis, Missouri. Daily modeling is required to precisely define the Missouri River flows and subsequently the economic and environmental impacts of alternative regulation scenarios for incorporation into the Missouri River Master Water Control manual review and Update (Master Manual Study). Familiarity with and knowledge of the existing model and Missouri River mainstem system operations is essential to accurately simulate the complexities of the mainstem operations during flow modeling. Having the ability to interpret daily flow model data and make adjustment to the existing model to effectively develop a daily flow model and refine previously modeled alternatives is also an essential requirement.
