The Weapon Flight Mechanics Division, of Wright Laboratorys Armament Directorate, is contemplating the award of a 30 month program to develop innovative carriage concepts for advanced aircraft and innovative compressed weapon designs. Reference the CBD announcement letter for more details: Unclassified Synopsis No. MNK-95-0006, dated 27 December 94. The governments estimated budget profile for this program is as follows: FY95, 2%, FY96, 33%, FY97, 33%, FY98, 32%. Research and Development Streamlined Contracting Procedures (RDSCP) apply to this acquisition in accordance with DFARS 235.70. A standard request for proposal (RFP) will not be issued. The complete solicitation, scheduled for release on or about 30 March 95, will appear in a subsequent edition of the Commerce Business Daily and proposals will be due 30 days after issuance of solicitation. As such, respondents to this notice must include complete address information to the office indicated below in order to receive any supplemental packages/amendments. This program will include and generate classified SECRET information. Therefore, all potential offerors must have approved facilities for handling and storage of classified material, and include their appropriate classified mailing address in their bidders letter to receive the classified annex to this solicitation. All respondents shall include their assigned Commercial and Government Entity Code. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/Foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated use of foreign national employees on this effort.
