Officer, (703) 325-5028. The Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA) is seeking
assistance in an effort to provide essential information to
decision-makers and planners in the national security community, with
specific reference to nuclear force modernization and arms control
reductions and limitations. The project is designed to support the
Director, DNA, in accomplishing his responsibilities as outlined in the
DNA Charter, specifically: (a) conduct research and testing to assess
and enhance the survivability and operability of U.S. and allied
weapons systems, C4I systems, installations and forces when exposed to
the effects of nuclear, designated advanced, and other weapons; (b)
provide technical support to the Unified Commands and to the
Intelligence Community components for operability-related matters; (c)
execute the DoD Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Program; (d)
perform RDT&E and technical assessments while serving as the executive
agent for counterproliferation programs; (e) provide guidance,
technical assistance, operational support, and conduct studies for DoD,
non-DoD components and other allied organizations. This procurement is
a small business set-aside. All contractor personnel will require a
DoD security clearance of TOP SECRET. All requests for the RFP must be
