ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES NOT EXPECTED TO EXCEED THE SMALL PURCHASE
LIMITATION AT DAVIS-MONTHAN AFB, ARIZONA Due 022896. Contact Mr James

Officer, Phone: (602) 750-4180. Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona requires the
services of Architect-Engineer firms for the investigation and design
of small projects at various times throughout the year. Work will
include architectural, mechanical, fire protection, electrical,
structural, civil, landscaping, environmental, and topographic survey
requirement. Some projects may require renovation and/or demolition of
existing facilities where asbestos and/or lead paint may be present
and the firms must have the ability, either in-house or through
consultants, to perform asbestos and lead surveys, and to design for
containment or removal. The contract limits and contract time will be
determined at the time of each selection. A typical contract will be
for a single project with a design fee less than $25,000. Multiple
contracts to various firms may be awarded under this announcement.
Responses on file from previous announcements will be discarded. All
firms desiring consideration must submit a new response. Responses to
this announcement will be for small purchase contract selections
through February 28, 1996. This announcement is non-closing and firms
may submit a SF 255 and SF 254 at any time during 1995. Firms desiring
consideration shall submit one (1) copy of SF 255 for prime and one
(1) copy of SF 254 for prime and each consultant. Depth of prime and
subcontractor personnel in each discipline must be shown in Block 4 of
SF 255 with subcontractor personnel in parenthesis. Cover letters and
extraneous material (Brochures, etc) are not desired and will not be
considered. Pertinent factors for consideration of qualifications which
should be addressed in the submittal, not listed in any particular
order are: (1) Professional qualifications, (2) Specialized experience
and technical competence, (3) Capacity for timely accomplishment of
work, (4) Past performance, (5) Geographic location, and (6) Volume of
DOD work the candidate has done. Special qualifications which are
required and will be considered as part of the selection process are:
(1) Professional registration in Arizona, (2) The ability to prepare
and submit documents in the latest versions of the following software:
AutoCad V12, MS Word V5.0, and MS Excel V6.0, and (3) The ability to
follow instructions. The ability of the firm and subcontractor
personnel to meet the first wo special qualifications must be indicated
in block 10 of the SF 255. The ability of the firm to follow
instructions will be rated according to how well instructions in this
