(NAVAIRSYSCOM) plans to award a firm-fixed price order under Basic
Ordering Agreement N00019-93-G-0185 required by Military
Interdepartmental Purchase Request N00019-95-MP-BPC7A for the
facilities, equipment, materials, and services necessary to remove,
repair, replace, and modify Government Furnished Equipment that fail
during or subsequent to installation of AH-1W Bureau Number 160799 in
direct support of retrofit changes in accordance with Engineering
Change Proposal Number 1686. NAVAIRSYSCOM plans to award the order to
Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., P.O. Box 482, Fort Worth, Texas 76101,
the manufacturer of the AH-1W helicopter and the contractor currently
performing non-recurring engineering effort for Engineering Change
Proposal 1686. These services shall be completed no later than 31
December 1995. Interest in subcontracting opportunities should be
directed to Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. at the address provided
above. This procurement is being contracted on a basis of ''other than
full and open competition'', and this synopsis is for informational
