R -- NONPERSONAL SERVICES ENCOMPASSING SCIENTIFIC, ENGINEERING, LOGISTIC, ADMINISTRATIVE, ACQUISITION, AND HOUSEKEEPING SUPPORT OF THE JOINT INTEROPERABILITY TEST COMMAND MISSION Sol. Nonpersonal services to perform and meet the Joint Interoperability Test Command's (JITC) missions and functions at Fort Huachuca, AZ. This encompasses a wide range of scientific, engineering, logistic, administrative, acquisition, and housekeeping support and includes, but is not limited to, all support aspects during the planning, conducting, evaluating and reporting of all Comamnd, Control, Communication, Computer, and Intelligence (C4I) testing; the design, development, engineering and acquisition of selected items of equipment and instrumentation; and the operation and maintenance of the facilities at Fort Huachuca, AZ, with possible performance at various world-wide locations either on a temporary or permanent basis. Inherent in this performance is the requirement for familiarization and knowledge of the technical and operational characteristics of selected C4I tactical and strategic and other equipment/systems, and joint and combined architectures and standards. The scope of the requirement centers on support for the missions and functions of the JITC which includes all preliminary work as well as testing and support for extensions into any C4I area. This is a notice of intent to issue, on or about 24 Apr 95, the final Request for Proposal (RFP) for a requirment currently under contract with Logicon Eagle Technology (Contract DABT63-91-C-0041), Interop Joint Venture (Contract DABT63-91-C-0042), BDM Engineering Services Company (Contract DABT63-91-C-0043), and will include work being performed under a classified contract with Validity Corporation (Contract N68786-92-C-6416) administered by the Director, Navy Systems Management Activity, Washington, D.C., 20397-5000. Period of performance will be one (1) year beginning on or about 1 March 97 with four (4) 1-year options, total not to exceed five (5) years. The Government intends to make award without discussions. A Pre-Proposal Confernece is scheduled on or about 18 May 95. The charge per copy for the Final RFP is $115.00. Checks should be made out to the Treasurer of the United States.
