Maintenance Dredging within the project channel at various locations between Stations 0+00 to 122+600 to a required depth of 40 feet MLW plus 1 foot allowable overdepth, and from stations 122+778 to 145+009 to a required depth of 24 feet MLW plus 1 foot allowable overdepth. Total estimated dredging yardage including allowable overdepth is 850,000 cubic yards. The fabrication of timber and steel sluice gates is also included under this contract. Government furnished disposal area sites are available, and construction of three containment areas (dikes) is also included under the contract work. Specifications and 1/2 size drawings will be furnished at a charge of $7.00 per set. Issue date for plans and specifications is on/or about 7 April 1995 with a bid opening date of 10 May 1995 at 11:00 a.m. Completion time for this project is 210 days. All checks are to drawn to ``FAO, USAED, New England''. Payment will not be returned and specifications need not be returned.
