Construction of an Airport Traffic Control Tower and Administrative Base Building at Palwaukee Municipal Airport, Wheeling, Ilinois. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment and transportation necessary to construct a complete building including, but not limited to the following: 1) Site earthwork, civil, grading and landscaping including parking area and 1100' of 12'' x 12' wide aggregate base construction road. 2) Construction of a 69' x 74' single story administrative base building complete with 32' x 9' link. 3) Construction of a 118'-7'' (height to top of roof antennas) Airport Traffic Control Tower with a 350 square foot cab. 4) This contract will include hook-up of building/power and cables from the tower and base building to the engine generator. 5) Installation of all electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems. 6) Extend the 6'' and 8'' sanitary line approximately 1023 LF to the existing airport 12'' sanitary sewer. 7) Install 611 LF of storm sewer. 8) Miscellaneous work as shown on the drawings. Estimated bidding range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bid documents are anticipated to be available on or about March 28, 1995.
