Construct a 6000 SF prefabricated metal building 80 ft x 75 ft, approximately 30 ft tall,, Is required to perform enviromentally safe corrosion control work on the F-16 aircraft. Sidewalls are face brick veneer and 8'' CMU block walls up to 14' elevation with metal paneling above. The roof system is a standing seam metal roof (non-penetrated) on rigid insulation and metal deck supported by steel roof purlins on a pre-engineered steel frame. Hangar bay door is approximately 24' high by 50' wide on the north end with a 10 foot by 10 foot door on the south end. Existing asphaltic concrete surface to be removed. A reinforced concrete foundation and floor will be a slab on grade. Project includes hangar bay underwing AFFF Fire Protection System to include two fire detection systems, alarm and control systems, and the AFFF equipment. Air-conditioning is required for a 13' x 14' administration/training area. Heating is required for the remainder of the building. A paint spray booth approximately 21.333'x11.167'x16.500' that is factory assembled and tested, solid back model - drive in, back out and equipped with hinged type filter doors is required. A paint mixing booth that is modular, has balanced lighting, down draft ventilation and has 8ft high ceiling and constructed of 3ft wide x 8ft high wall panels. DeVilbiss Model PMR-6000 or equal. The estimated period of performance 270 days starting approximately 1 May 1995. The SIC code applicable is 1541. The estimated construction cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. A non-refundable check of $75.00 made payable to Treasurer of the US, is required for each set of plan and specifications.
